About
Hi, I’m Jose.
I’ve spent fifteen years building software systems — for startups that had nothing and for companies that had too much. The pattern never changed: the most valuable thing I ever shipped wasn’t clever. It was the thing that made somebody’s Monday shorter.
Call It A Day is that pattern, made into a company. I connect the systems you have, automate the work nobody should be doing by hand, and use AI where it holds up — with a person on the gate. No pitch decks, no “digital transformation”. Just work you can point at, that gives hours back.
The name is the promise. Software should let you finish — close the laptop at five and mean it.

How I work
Plain answers
If I can’t explain the plan in one page of normal language, it isn’t ready. You’ll always know what’s being done and why.
Small first
Every engagement starts with the smallest thing that proves value — an assessment, a working session, a sprint. Never a leap of faith.
You keep everything
Code, credentials, documentation, the report — yours. If we stop tomorrow, nothing breaks and nothing is held hostage.
Call it a day.
Tell me what keeps eating your team’s time — the assessment takes a few minutes and gives you findings first.
